There are thousands of kinds of races and every Christian is built to run in one. God has given us all different gifts but with the same purpose, which is to glorify Him by enjoying Him forever. EduVenture is like a long distance adventure team race. Therefore our team is built on the following principles.

WE ARE HIS:

God created us, Christ died for us and we run for Him with all of our heart, soul, mind, body and spirit because we are forever grateful. He is our leader and our “rights” don't exist. We are His to use till death in whatever way He pleases. EduVenture is just one of many teams but we Christian Adventure Racers have the same goal.

HE CALLS US TO RUN WITH HIM:

We are part of this race because we have chosen to love Him and our neighbors and because He has gifted and called us. We are part of this team NOT because we were the best, but because we are willing. We are honored and amazed that He, knowing how weak and flawed we are, calls us to run with Him.

THE RACE ENTAILS RISK:

Human nature is to make policy and procedure to ensure our safety and comfort. The nature of adventure racing requires risk, danger, exhaustion, injury and often being lost. It also involves wonderfully savored times of exhilaration, blessing, rest, peace and restoration. It is trusting and choosing to rest in Him regardless of our circumstances and feelings. EduVenture probably has 20 years until we become useless for His purposes due to our intervention. So we will run hard in the meantime.
